FirmTape docs

One guide a product: what it measures, where to find it, how to read it in thirty seconds, and every feature written up step by step.

It does not tell you direction. It tells you where the book stands and how far price may travel.

Direction was tested three independent ways on this data and is not there: momentum on negative gamma does not replicate over 2022 to 2026, the sign of net gamma carries nothing across horizons, and a random entry time beats the crossing of a gamma threshold. So there are no arrows on this screen and no trade calls in any message: there is nothing honest to put in them.

What holds up is size. The expected move is calibrated: over 1,088 sessions the close landed inside one expected move 72.4% of the time. Read the numbers for position size, stop width and whether the day's geometry suits your own model, never for which way to face.

Every number is a measurement from a named book: the volume book (the conventional public object, built here from the tape), the open-interest book, or the measured book, signed print by print from the tape and its quotes. The guides say which book each reading comes from.

The guides

Every guide on one page, for reading straight through or searching with the browser.

Concepts

The words the guides use are explained one at a time on Learn, and the evidence behind every reading is on Research.

For AI agents

Every docs and features page has a Markdown copy at the same address with .md added (/docs.md, /docs/live.md). The list of them is /docs/llms.txt; the site's own summary is /llms.txt and the brief for assistants is /for-ai-agents.
